LPC Clinical Supervision for Licensure Candidates
Two Wednesdays per month, 5:00 – 7:00 pm
For Counselors Seeking Licensure
In this group, clinicians have an opportunity to present cases and expand their skills and understanding. Group sessions are tailored to the needs of the individual participants and include attention to counseling theory in practice, case conceptualization and effective treatment-planning, ethics, developing setting-specific interventions, and special topics such as managing suicidal risk, facilitating insight through creative expression, identifying and intervening with traumatic re-enactments, and teaching mindfulness skills. Participants will be guided in integrating a trauma-informed lens to their work and gain an understanding of Internal Family Systems (www.selfleadership.org) in practice.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, I am eligible to provide 100% of the required supervision hours to LPC Candidates as well as 50% of the required supervision hours to Marriage and Family Therapists and Clinical Social Workers. I have provided clinical supervision for over twenty years.
